From John S. Dr. Zimmerman had come highly recommended by several of my physicians whose opinions I respected. Meeting with him that first time regarding the procedure instilled a high degree of confidence that things were under control and that help was on the way. (The fact that he knew who 'Dr. House' was didn't hurt either.) I won't lie to you and tell you that my experience was a pleasant one. It wasn't. The period after the surgery when the catheter is installed is trying but necessary. The fact that during the surgery I also had two hernias repaired probably didn't help. The Doctor and his staff were always available to answer the kind of questions that run through one's mind after such an event and were a source of confidence and support. As I sit here typing this, I note that everything has now pretty much returned to normal (including my PSA) and things went very well indeed. I have my life back, thanks to Dr. Zimmerman, Dr. Colton, and the staff at Morris Urology.
